About the Editor
From the earliest point in my life that I can recall, I remember watching the Chicago Bears. In Chicago, it’s the only thing the entire city can agree upon. I don’t recall exactly when I crossed the line and became a fanatic, but I do know I’ll never go back. And like so many people, I live by faith – faith that the Bears will win the Super Bowl this year. And I pray to my God (Brian Urlacher) for His guidance to help me celebrate victories safely (and legally), and for His strength to make it through the occasional, torturous loss.
And so, humbly I live by the ups and downs – the ebbs and tides, if you will (and you will) – of the Chicago Bears. And I thank Ditka every day for that gift. The best part is that even though I never got to meet the legendary Papa Bear Halas, I will some day – in heaven. I hear he’s got the penthouse suite, one floor above Jesus. And when I meet him, he will thank me for writing this blog – for believing, for spreading the word – and for tackling spectators wearing the opposing team’s jersey in the sacred temple where heroes go to die, Soldier Field.

Great site… welcome to the world of blogging. I think it was invented just for you! One suggestion… maybe post the schedule? It’d be easier to check your blog than comb through ESPN for the schedule and it’d be more fun to read your commentary about upcoming games.
